Before we even quote on your part, we can address every aspect of your part’s design and make-up to determine the most cost effective design for your exact needs. All of this will result in an outstanding product crafted for your particular requirements and to your precise specifications without any extra expense.

What DFM looks like. Controlling costs through collaboration.

What DFM looks like. Controling costs through collaboration.

During the DFM process we will discuss optimal material selections based on size, shape, appearance, weight, and desired outcomes. We will also address tolerances, finishes, standardization of features, fillet radiuses, and anything else that we believe isimportant based on your needs.

Our customers are in complete control of the design and any decisions regarding the advice given. Our job is simply to equip customers for making informed decisions that can lower costs.

Going through this process can be especially advantageous during the early stages of design; however, old projects can often be improved as well. Assemblies and part-families are great candidates for cost savings.

How to get started. What you need to bring.

How to get started. What you need to bring.

  • A solid understanding of what the part is used for, including form, fit, and function
This information allows us to retain the criticall characteristics that you require.
  • A sample part or drawing of the current design as well as any available mating parts and CAD files
This allows us to make sure that there are no unexpected consequences to manufacturing choices.
  • The authority to make decisions regarding changes we suggest
Because you are in charge of the process.
